1. About these terms

These terms govern use of the website operated by Arlou LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company operating as arlou. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

You must have legal capacity to agree to these terms. If you act for a business, you must have authority to do so. Our handling of personal information is explained in our Privacy policy.

2. Enquiries, bookings & projects

The website describes our services and lets you contact us or arrange a call. Sending an enquiry or booking a free call does not commit you to buying a service or commit us to accepting a project.

Paid work is subject to a separate agreement covering the scope, price, payment schedule, delivery, ownership, support, and any cancellation or refund terms. That agreement controls the paid engagement and takes precedence over these website terms if they conflict. These terms do not change an existing client agreement.

Provide accurate contact and booking information, and let us know if you need to reschedule. Only share material you are entitled to share. Please do not send passwords, API keys, or sensitive personal information through initial enquiry or booking channels.

3. Resources & estimates

Website examples, demonstrations, timelines, and savings estimates are illustrative unless expressly included as a commitment in an agreed scope of work. Actual outcomes depend on the workflow, data, access, tools, and review involved.

You may use a plan we provide to evaluate or plan your business workflows, including with your own team or another developer, unless a separate agreement says otherwise. Recommendations and AI-assisted outputs should be reviewed for your circumstances before you rely on them or put them into production.

4. Acceptable use

Use the website lawfully and respect other people’s rights. You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access, bypass access controls, or interfere with the website or its providers.
  • Introduce malware, submit abusive or fraudulent bookings, or overload the service.
  • Impersonate someone, misrepresent your affiliation, or collect another person’s information without authorization.
  • Use website content in a way that infringes intellectual property or other legal rights.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security issues, or legal obligations. To report a security concern, email rouven@arlou.dev.

5. Website content & ownership

The website’s text, design, branding, and other materials belong to Arlou LLC or their respective licensors. You may browse the website, share links, and make reasonable copies for personal use or internal evaluation of our services.

Other reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use requires permission unless allowed by law. Do not imply our endorsement or remove ownership notices. Ownership of code and other client deliverables is governed by the relevant project agreement, not by this section.

6. Third-party services

The website may link to or embed services from other providers, including Cal.com for scheduling and Stripe for payments where applicable. Your use of those services is also subject to their applicable terms and privacy policies. We do not control third-party websites or guarantee their availability.

7. Availability & liability

We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but it may contain errors or be unavailable during maintenance or for other reasons. To the extent permitted by law, the website and its general informational content are provided as available, without warranties of uninterrupted access, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by law, Arlou LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this website or its general informational content. This does not limit obligations or remedies under a separate paid-service agreement.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability or statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

8. Governing law

These website terms are governed by Wyoming law and applicable United States federal law, except where mandatory law requires otherwise. Any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you remain in effect.

If you have a concern, contact us at rouven@arlou.dev so we can try to resolve it. This does not prevent you from exercising legal rights or contacting a regulator.

9. Changes & contact

We may update these terms by publishing a revised version with a new effective date. Changes apply prospectively and do not amend a signed project agreement. We will provide additional notice of material changes where required by law.

Questions about these terms can be sent to Arlou LLC at rouven@arlou.dev.
